Thank you for being for "We the People". Your transparency and informative letters to the public is so valuable. Have you researched the possibility of restoring the original 3.1 rule which was deemed by the court system to be lawful.?

Congratulations on your election to the position of Council Chairman, we trust it will be a successful appointment!

I have a question about the UDO. Based on what I've read about it, if I understand correctly, this isn't an original concept hatched by local UDO supporters. If this is true, can you supply any information about where it comes from, who on the national/global level may be pushing it, where it is also being proposed/discussed and where it has already been implemented?

Again, congratulations!!! Thanks!

I did not know where to post this, so I am posting this here. It is important, I think, that DEI be defeated wherever it exists and apparently it exists in Greenville City. https://www.fitsnews.com/2025/01/14/what-can-south-carolina-learn-from-the-california-wildfires/

I am with the County but I have seen this initiative mentioned through the city as the article suggests.

Thanks for reminding us of all the wonderful county workers who worked so

diligently to help the people of Greenville get through this last storm. Even though

it was not as bad as it could have been, it is nice to know they are prepared and

ready to help wherever and whenever they are needed.

On the issue of preparedness, where were the warming shelters in case of a power outage. I noticed Spartanburg County thought of this. I am not talking about homeless shelters here. There should have been some alternatives for families with homes who lost power.

Sincere congrats and thanks to all of our emergency management team and our first responders that were ready willing and able to handle what basically turned out to be just a dry run. But IMHO they passed with flying colors and appear to be more than ready for the next "Snowmageddon"! Great job team! And sincere congrats to Ben on being elected to the chairmanship. Keep up the good fight Ben!

Thank for sharing and you part in trying to make Greenville County a better place. Congratulations on being elected to the chairmanship. I understand completely that council cannot stop proper development according to existing zoning laws. I just ask that instances of re-zoning and variances be few and far between until infrastructure needs are addressed.

its time to address the overdevelopment in greenville county...put a hold on any new building for 2-3 years and allow the outdated infrastructure/roads time to catch up...if and when the new council/leadership do something worth a shit to maintain fiscal normalcy and more representation less taxation then you might get some compliments...the council of the past 2-4 years was a bunch of greedy liars that voted on projects that would enrich themselves/their families/their donors and the lobbyists(special interest groups) who bought them...you all work for us and nothing thats expensive should be considered without a vote by WE THE PEOPLE...you idgets work for us-quit talking and start working...i know most folks i speak to are sick of the inept/hapless crap the past 5-6 years-period!!!!!

I am so grateful you are my Councilman in my district and amazed by God in your election to the Chairman position. I have one word to describe my current emotion, cautiously optimistic and hopeful for the County of Greenville residents. Please , do not get in bed with the DEI and SEG. We need merit based governing and actual financial transparency for Greenville County. We need hard working citizens and not Socialism or Communism agenda's in our County. Thank you Benton for stepping up to the plate and for actually hitting the ball out of the Park. I pray all the County Counsel will serve the lives and futures of Greenville County first, setting an example for others to follow and effecting the implementation of The Constitution of the United States of America. The only flags we should see in the United States of America are the State flag in each state and the United States flag of AMERICA. All other flags should come down! No poaching, No squatting, and NO killing of innocent children. Remind all Greenville County Schools that the RAINBOW is God's promise to the human race that he would no longer destroy the earth with a flood. Not the elimination of the ability of Humans to reproduce of its own kind. WE need to teach our children to love our Country and fight to save it from our enemies, those who call us THE BIG SATAN because we believe in Christian, Judeo living, The Bible. That is what our nation was founded on and we need to get back to it to make America Great again. We need every voice and strong debate as did our founding fathers when they penned the Constitution. When people fear Government then the Fear of God is dead. Men want to be God and we need to always remember we are NOT YAWEH . If a person or persons want to be Americans they should be able upon vetting of true values of America, not a Trajan Horse to destroy us. George Soros and Bill Gates to name a few who pay people to come here for evil objectives. This is my novel in response to yours! I pray for you and every member to be safe, and for The Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding to rule and rein in your meetings and agendas, in Jesus name AMEN!
