You are on the right track. I would add that we need to look into impact fees for developers to mitigate our costs for infrastructure. Additionally, I would place a moratorium on all FILOT’s until we get a handle on the budget through a forensic audit to see exactly where our tax dollars have actually been spent. Once that’s completed, we can then revisit the feasibility of giving FILOT’s. Thank you for all your hard work and transparency!

Somehow my post disappeared, at least on my end, but I really appreciate the way you keep us all informed. I’m not in your district but i think all the council members should keep their areas informed also. I don’t remember any council person ever doing this. Personally i think you would make a great council leader, and if I could you would definitely have my vote.
