I believe the arena should be self-supporting. Any building will eventually need renovations. So why hasn`t money been set aside for this? I am a retiree on a fixed income. I cannot afford to go to the well so why should I be asked to support it?

You are absolutely correct. I don't go to the arena, it is expensive to go unlike a park or road that is assesable to everyone. Why should we build, much less maintain a facility that is making millions. Where is that money? Why aren't efforts made to budget for upgrades. Why should we have a facility to compete against these huge cities? I would rather tear down this arena than upgrade at taxpayer expense. When will this stop? Are we going to pay for ball stadium upgrades next while our roads crumble and not even the grass is cut in areas along these roads. Oh, yeah, they think they need to raise taxes on that to. Why have a budget when you can simply raise taxes. Taxes take from the economy and lower the quality of life.

I would suggest upgrades be made by those making money on the arena.
