Correction: Updated GoFundMe Link
A quick note this morning to correct an error in the emergency call to action I sent out earlier. The GoFundMe link included in that newsletter was incorrect.
Here is the correct link to support the staff affected by the sudden closure of the autism care facility:
I apologize for the additional email this morning, but given the urgency of the situation, and the number of people already trying to help, I felt it was important to get the correct information to you as quickly as possible.
Thank you to a friend who quickly caught this and reached out to me, and thank you again for your willingness to step up, share these updates, and support the families, children, teachers, and staff impacted by this sudden closure. Your response matters, and it’s already making a difference.

Thank you!
This is another opinion from a parent of an autistic child whom I respect.
Thanks for sharing.
I don’t know this particular operation as there are literally dozens. I do know that reimbursement cuts have been a fear. SC isnt going to replace the funding which was cut by the Trump administration.
I certainly wouldn’t panic react and throw money to them.
This is a subject area that I very well understand, and while the Trump meanness and idiocy is absurd, I am ok with the system collapsing so it can be rebuilt.
The structure of these programs and who profits is an in depth discussion and one that should make any caring individual scream.
People need to ween off of government reimbursement, you would not believe or maybe you would , how many folks with means are unwilling to fund their own needs in this area. It’s a let the govt take care of them philosophy.
Greenville is a center for some interesting and forward thinking programming in this area. BUT it is NOT who is constantly out in public raising money or getting press. In fact just the opposite, it garners national respect and serves a national clientele. It is also completely under the radar. The original creator of this therapy approach just happens to be here. It is with whom we founded the Little White House more than a decade ago.
I’m about to go outside and start cleaning for the Christmas Party next. We are really looking forward to it, and hope the weather is good.
